A Wake Up Call

This little flower appeared in the garden seemingly over night. It’s so tiny that I initially overlooked it. That happens when I’m stressed and not looking at the world with an open mind.

I’m taking this as Mother Nature’s slap upside the head to start observing the small things – and stop getting buried by the daily minutia, irrelevantly arcane and truly trivial things that I have no control over.

  1. Thanks for visiting! And right you are. This particular plant is very small compared to the other Dianthus variations in my gardens – and it gets dwarfed quickly by the other perennials in the garden. It’s a game little guy, though, pushing out blooms day after day.
